Fear and failure show up for every paddler—whether you’re just stepping into dynamic water or pushing into new conditions. This interactive online session is designed to help you change your relationship with both.

Together, we’ll unpack the two types of fear and failure, explore what we already know as a paddling community, and identify the gaps that can hold us back on the water. Through shared experiences, real paddling stories, guided reflection, and practical insights, you’ll walk away with a clearer mindset, stronger self-trust, and tools you can apply the very next time the sea starts calling.

We’ll also break down the meaning behind Fear, Fun, and Failure, and explore key ideas around situational awareness, decision-making, and Choice Theory—giving you a framework to make better decisions in real conditions.
