DESCRIPTION:Taking your sea kayak into the rough water might be a little intimidating but it does not have to be. During the program\, we will work on building confidence in a rough water environment.  The program will be structured in a way that we will progress from calm conditions and we will build confidence during the day working in a variety of different conditions. \nAppropriate for anyone with Paddle Canada level 1 skills and above.  \nImportant Note: The 5K Cafe will be the meeting location to start the planning process \nAims of this programs\n\nBuild confidence in rough water conditions\nIdentify hazards and areas to avoid\nPractice rescues that can be performed effectively in rough water conditions\nGain confidence in bracing and support strokes that can be used in a variety of different conditions\n\nClick here for more details!

DESCRIPTION:The Shubenacadie River is one of the most unique paddling environments you will ever paddle.  We are blessed to have this venue in our backyard to paddle as often as we can. We called it the Shubie and you will be all smiles when you paddle it. \nProgram Venues \nShubenacadie River starts at Maitland and runs to Green Creek.  We set up a shuttle in advance so we do not have to paddle back down the river on the ebb tide. \nClick here for more detailsshube
