SUMMARY:Fall On the Bruce
DESCRIPTION:As autumn graces the Great Lakes\, the winds begin to strengthen\, and the waters take on a livelier character. Join us for an unforgettable three-day kayaking adventure amidst the stunning beauty of Bruce Peninsula. While this region thrives with tourists during the peak of summer\, it transforms into an enchanting haven as the tourist crowds disperse and the weather undergoes its seasonal shift\, making it an ideal destination for our paddling escapades. \nWho is eligible for this program? \nThis weekend is open to participants of all skill levels; however\, it may not be suitable for brand-new paddlers who have not undergone any formal sea kayak training in the past. We are more than willing to have a preliminary conversation with you to determine if the program aligns with your needs and objectives. A minimum of Paddle Canada Level 1 certification is required\, and Paddle Canada Level 2 Skills and above are most appropriate. \nRegister Now

SUMMARY:Long-Term Student Intake Call
DESCRIPTION:2027 Long-Term Student Program — Intake Call\nMore Than a Course. A Journey. \nAre you thinking about making 2027 the year you take your paddling to the next level? \nJoin me for the 2027 Long-Term Student Program Intake Call and learn more about what it means to become part of the C2TC Long-Term Student community. \nThe Long-Term Student Program is built around a simple idea: meaningful development takes time. Rather than trying to fit everything into a single course or a single season\, we work together over time to develop skills\, confidence\, decision-making\, leadership and a deeper understanding of the sea. \nDuring the intake call\, we’ll talk about: \n\nWhat the Long-Term Student Program is—and what it isn’t\nHow the program is structured for the 2027 season\nThe different options available to students\nHow we develop individual goals and personalized learning plans\nThe importance of practice\, repetition and time on the water\nHow coaching and mentorship continue throughout the season\nOpportunities to paddle in Nova Scotia and beyond\nThe community that develops between long-term students\nWhat I expect from students—and what you can expect from me as your coach\n\nWe’ll also talk about your paddling goals for 2027. This isn’t about putting everyone through the same program. It’s about understanding where you are now\, where you want to go\, and figuring out what it will take to get there. \nThe Long-Term Student Program is for paddlers who are ready to invest time\, effort\, energy and commitment into their development. \nYou don’t need to have everything figured out before joining the call. In fact\, that’s part of the reason for having the conversation. \nCome with your questions\, your ideas\, and maybe even a few things you’ve been wanting to accomplish but haven’t quite figured out how to get there. \nWe never graduate our long-term students. The relationship continues as long as you want to keep learning. \n2027 Intake Call\n📅 November 18\, 2026🎥 Online via Google Meet🛶 Committed 2 the Core — Long-Term Student Program \nCome find out if the Long-Term Student Program is the right next step in your paddling journey. \nCLICK HERE 2 RSVP

SUMMARY:Nova Scotia Sea Kayak Pool Sessions
DESCRIPTION:Register Now\n2027 Sea Kayak Pool Program\nBuild Confidence. Explore Your Limits. Become More Comfortable in Your Kayak.\nWe’re incredibly fortunate to have access to a large\, warm swimming pool during the winter months. Our pool program gives you the opportunity to bring your sea kayak into a controlled\, comfortable environment where you can explore\, experiment\, and develop your skills without the challenges of cold water or changing sea conditions. \nThe pool is an ideal place to push the boundaries of your stability\, develop better control of your kayak\, and build confidence in your ability to respond when things don’t go as planned. \nCapsizing a sea kayak can create a wide range of physical and emotional responses. For some paddlers\, simply being upside down or under the kayak can be challenging. For others\, it’s an opportunity to explore what their kayak—and they themselves—are capable of. \nOur goal is not simply to teach you how to roll. It’s to help you understand your responses\, develop confidence underwater\, and build the skills and awareness that allow you to remain calm and make good decisions when your kayak is no longer upright. \nWhether you’re working on your first support stroke\, becoming more confident with bracing\, refining an existing roll\, or working toward a reliable roll\, the pool provides a safe and supportive environment to learn\, experiment\, and make progress. \nCome join us in the pool and discover more of what is possible in a sea kayak—while becoming more comfortable on\, in\, and under the water. \nProgram Goals\n\nBuild confidence and control through bracing\, support strokes\, recovery skills\, and kayak handling.\nExplore the limits of your stability in a controlled environment and develop a better understanding of how your kayak responds.\nBecome more comfortable underwater and learn to manage the physical and emotional responses that can come with a capsize.\nDevelop and refine your roll with individualized coaching and feedback.\nUnderstand the rolling progression and identify the next steps in your own development.\nDevelop skills that transfer to the sea\, helping you become a more confident\, capable\, and adaptable paddler.\n\nKayaks & Equipment\nSea kayaks are not included with the program. Participants are encouraged to bring their own kayak and equipment.

SUMMARY:Brier Island Tidal Race Program
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER NOW\nPROGRAM OUTLINE\nSituated at the entrance to the Bay of Fundy are two small islands\, Brier Island and Long Island. With each tidal cycle\, enormous volumes of water move through the Bay\, funnelling around these islands and creating a dynamic marine environment filled with exciting opportunities for sea kayakers. \nJoin us as we explore this remarkable coastline\, experience the movement of the tides\, and discover what makes this area such a special place to paddle. From exploring the rugged shoreline to playing in moving water\, Brier Island offers an opportunity to develop your skills\, build confidence\, and experience the sea in a new way. \nThis is a place where the sea shapes everyday life. Fishing boats\, working wharves\, and a proud maritime heritage tell the story of communities whose livelihoods and traditions are deeply connected to the ocean. Here\, the sea is more than a beautiful backdrop; it is part of the community’s identity\, history\, and way of life. \nAnd when the paddling day comes to an end\, Brier Island rewards us with some of the most stunning sunsets in Nova Scotia. There is something special about watching the sun sink into the horizon after a day spent on the water\, surrounded by the sights\, sounds\, and rhythms of the sea. \nThis is more than a paddling trip. It is an opportunity to challenge yourself\, learn from the environment\, connect with fellow paddlers\, and immerse yourself in a remarkable coastal community. Come for the paddling\, stay for the sunsets\, and leave with a deeper connection to the sea. \n \nProgram Aims \n\nLearn strategies for working in a dynamic tidal environment\nPractice personal competence in placement\, time and movement in tidal environments.\nPractice group awareness and incident management in a tidal environment.\nVisit one of the nicest coastal communities in Nova Scotia and experience island living at its best
