PROGRAM OUTLINE

Do you find yourself sitting with a Paddle Canada Level 2 skills certificate but don’t know what is required to practice to achieve the next level? Do you lack the confidence, community and support network that is required to practice and master the techniques taught during the level 2 skills program? This program is perfect for you.

The main aim of this program is practice under the watchful eye of experience sea kayak coaches in Level 2 and 3 paddling conditions.

WHAT 2 EXPECT

This three-day program has been developed with paddler who have participated in a Paddle Canada level 2 skills but do not feel confident to take the techniques they have learned into a variety of different locations and conditions.  This program gets paddlers into a number of different venues to build their understanding of the ocean environment. This ocean environment is hyper dynamic that requires an introduction to situational awareness to be understand what we sea, why it is happening and most importantly what will happen if I take my kayak into these conditions. During the program we will explore a number of different leadership concepts giving you and opportunity to put this into practice.  Nowhere in the Paddle Canada Program do we allow paddlers to practice these before presenting for the Level 3 skills.

If you have questions about this program, please feel free to reach out to us.
